Hello folks!
Life has been quite a journey for me. Born in England, I grew up through the golden Rock years of the 70’s and got into the music business in the early 80’s. A variety of jobs, all involving music, eventually led me to Japan and here I am, forty years later, working for UPP-tone with people who love music as much as I do. In this twice monthly column, I’m going to take a look back on how I got here and write a few stories to give you an idea of what life is like backstage, off stage and behind the spotlight.

私にとって人生はかなりの旅でした。 イギリス生まれ、70年代のゴールデンロックの年代を経て育ち、80年代初頭に音楽業界に入りました。 音楽を含むさまざまな仕事をしていて結局私を日本に導き、40年後の今は、私と同じ音楽を愛するUPP-toneの人々と働いています。 この月2回のコラムでは、ここにたどり着いた経緯を振り返り、バックステージ、オフステージ、スポットライトの裏生活について、いくつかのストーリーを書いていきます。
